The configurator to be developed should be applicable to at least two different parking garage designs according to the material selected and take planning and legal limits into account. The configurator should fulfill the following:
• Recognize the external parking garage geometry (axis and level grid) or be able to process it as input parameters
• Provide a simple user interface to guide the user through the configuration process
• Parametric placement of the façade elements for the given material according to the existing attachment points (resulting from axis and plane grid)
My main goal for this project was the generation of an interface that would allow the user to select different type of lamellas. The technology used for this project is 3D printed wood, which allow to create this variety. There is an option for the user to process the angles of the lamella depending on the sun radiation
